Oden Works Out With Trail Blazers, Tests Knee

Don’t tell anyone, but there’s been a Greg Oden sighting; according to ESPN.com, the Portland Trail Blazers center, who is recovering from micro-fracture surgery on his right knee, practiced with the team for 45 minutes Wednesday. And from all accounts, it went off without a hitch as he dunked, jumped and took part in offensive plays with the team.
While Oden went through drills at about half-speed, he looked like the pre-surgery version of himself, when he was the #1 overall pick of the NBA draft this season. If everything goes according to plan, then you can expect the debut of Oden next season - which should make an improved Trail Blazers team that much better, especially in the front-court.
