Smith Wants Magic To Have More Of An Edge

The Orlando Sentinel reported Thursday that Orlando Magic General Manager Otis Smith wants his team playing with more of an attitude for the balance of the regular season. Smith told reporters Wednesday morning that he would like to see his team develop “a little more of a nasty attitude. . . . be a little angrier.” Last week Magic center Dwight Howard spoke about what he perceives as an inequity in the Association’s rules. He questioned why he could be hammered but could not retaliate. Smith is hoping some of Howard’s teammates will do it for him.
