The “New York Daily News” reported Friday that NBA Hall of Fame Legend Oscar Robertson says in order for the New York Knicks to get out of their current malaise, they must undergo a thorough house cleaning. Robertson said that would include Team President and head coach Isiah Thomas. The “Big O” spoke with reporters Wednesday night as he was honored at MSG for his incredible game at the old garden back on January 9, 1958 when while playing for the Cincinnati Bearcats he scored 56 points against Seton Hall. When asked about the Knicks, Robertson responded “Just stick a fork in them, they’re done. They need an overall transformation, from top to bottom. When I say top to bottom, I mean top to bottom. You’re not going to win with these guys. With what they got today, you’re not going to win basketball games. You have too many feuds on the team. The lawsuit didn’t help.” Robertson is just the latest in a long line that says that Zeke must be let go art the end of the year.
