Gasol Out vs. Rockets Sunday

It is looking more likely by the day that Los Angeles Lakers center Pau Gasol, according to SportsTicker, will miss Sunday’s game against the Houston Rockets; Gasol left Friday’s game against the New Orleans Hornets with a sprained left ankle and did not return. X-rays were negative, and Gasol is scheduled for an MRI today (Saturday) to determine the extent of the injury. Depending on the MRI results, Gasol is expected to miss at least Sunday’s game; the Lakers, since Gasol’s acquisition on February 1, are 15-4.
