It is apparent that the Toronto Raptors clearly miss forward Chris Bosh in their lineup; against the Sacramento Kings Sunday night at Arco Arena, the Raptors were quite pesky, but 32 points from the Kings’ Kevin Martin help hold off the Raptors for a hard-earned, 106-100 win.

Sacramento led after the first quarter 32-23; they continued their fast-paced game as they went into halftime 53-49; Martin ignited the Kings early in the third quarter with a pair of three-pointers during a 10-0 run.? He would score 13 in the period to help the Kings take a narrow 75-73 lead into the fourth quarter.? Sacramento would go on a small 6-0 run as Ron Artest made a jumper, Martin connected on a jumper and Brad Miller made 2 free throws to put the Kings up 98-91 with 1:35 left to go.

Toronto’s Jason Kapono would bring the Raptors to within 3 points twice in the final 23 seconds, but Sacramento’s Martin converted 3 free throws and Artest made a layup with 10.9 seconds on the clock, essentially sealing the game for the Kings.? Sacramento’s leading scorer was the aforementioned Martin with 32 points, 8 rebounds, 4 assists and a steal, while Artest scored 19 with 10 boards, 5 assists and 4steals; Mikki Moore added 17 with 7 rebounds, while Miller had a solid double-double, scoring 14 with 11 rebounds, an assist and a blocked shot.

Toronto was led by Kapono from off the bench with 26 points, 4 rebounds, 2 assists and a steal, while Rasho Neterovic scored 20 with 8 rebounds, an assist, 2 steals and 2 blocked shots.? Sacramento (30-36) now makes the short trip on I-80 west to Oakland to face the Golden State Warriors Tuesday, while Toronto (34-32) flies east to Salt Lake City to take on the Utah Jazz on Monday.?
