Reports Say Bynum Could Be Out Until Start Of Playoffs
Posted by Jeff Sack under Main
The Associated Press reported Tuesday night that Los Angeles Lakers center Andrew Bynum may not be back on the hardwood with his team until the first round of the Playoffs. Bynum dislocated his left knee and suffered a bone bruise back on January 13, and has been on injured reserve ever since. Before Tuesday night’s contest against the Dallas Mavericks LA coach Phil Jackson told reporters, he did not expect to see his center playing until April 18, which is when the playoffs begin. Bynum was having his strongest year in the Association before getting hurt averaging? 13.1 ppg, 10.2 rpg, and 2.06 blocks per game.
