The Chicago Sun Times Wednesday reported that Indiana University may have a strong interest in bringing in former Chicago Bulls coach Scott Skiles as their new bench boss starting next season. Skiles was fired from his job as Bulls bench boss after telling General Manager John Paxson and owner Jerry Reinsdorf that the team might need a new voice (not exactly how to inspire confidence about you from your employer.) Just last Spring Skiles was talked about glowingly as an up and coming coach in the Association. That reputaion was in tatters by the time he was fired on Christmas Eve, after a lackluster start of the campaign.

?????????????????????Toronto Raptors forward Chris Bosh?

The long awaited return of Chris Bosh has finally happened, as according to SportsTicker, the Raptors forward will return to the lineup Wednesday as Toronto hosts the Miami Heat.? Bosh has missed 10 games due to a knee injury, suffered against the Indiana Pacers on February 25; after going 0-5 on their West Coast trip (2-8 without Bosh overall), the Raptors hope that Bosh can provide that much-needed spark for the final month of the season. Before the injury, Bosh averaged 22.6 PPG and 8.9 RPG in 52 games this season.

??????????????????????????Larry Harris

I guess this isn’t totally surprising in light of the fact that the Milwaukee Bucks will be headed towards a fourth consecutive losing season, but according to SportsTicker, the team has relieved (read: fired) general manager Larry Harris of his duties Wednesday as they announced that Harris requested that he be relieved of his duties immediately.?

With 15 games remaining on the Bucks’ schedule, the Bucks are 23-44 and 6 games out of the 8th and final Eastern Conference playoff spot.? In Harris’ 4+ years as Bucks general manager, the team has a combined record of 162-233 and they have?made the playoffs only once during that span.? Harris was hired as general manager in 2003; he joined the organization in 1990 as?a video coordinator.?
