Longhorns Stampede Over Governors 74-54

A.J. Abrams shot 10-16 from the field for a game high 26 points and the Texas Longhorns ran all over Austin Peay Friday 74-54 in their round matchup in the NCAA South Regionals. The Longhorns basically dominated the contest through out as led 39-24 at the half. Texas shot 49.1% (27-55) from the floor for the game. Governors forward Ernest Fields led Austin Peay with 14 points, coming off the bench. Texas will take on the Miami Hurricanes Sunday in round two.
