#14 Cal-State Fullerton was like a pesky mosquito against #3 Wisconsin Thursday night as they hung with them until the second half; however, the Badgers recovered and dominated as they pulled off the 71-56 victory in the NCAA Midwest regional at Qwest Center in Omaha, NE.? Wisconsin’s high scorer was Brian Butch with 14 points, 9 rebounds, an assist and a blocked shot, while Joe Krabbenhoft and Jason Bohannon scored 13 each – with Krabbenhoft grabbing 9 rebounds, with a steal and 2 blocked shots while Bohannon grabbed 3 rebounds and dished out 2 assists; Marcus Landry grabbed 12 rebounds.? Cal State-Fullerton was led by Josh Akognon with 31 points, 8 rebounds and 3 steals, while Frank Robinson added 11 with 3 rebounds and 2 assists.? Wisconsin will now face Kansas State Saturday at Qwest Center.
