Posted by Jeff Sack under Main
Cleveland Cavaliers All-Star forward LeBron James became the all time leading scorer in the team’s history as he set the mark during ?Cleveland’s 90-83 victory over the Toronto Raptors. LBJ who scored 29 points in the contest passed the mark during the first quarter of the game. The old record was held by former Cavaliers center Brad Daugherty who scored 10,389 points in 548 games with Cleveland.? Daugherty’s career ended long before it should have due to chronic back problems which eventually resulted in career ending surgery.? James now has 10,414 points and accomplished the feat in just 380 games.? At the end of the game LBJ was given the game ball by veteran referee Dick Bavetta. James turned 23 years old in December, earlier this season he became the youngest player in the history of the Association to score 10,000 points.
