Mavericks Lose Nowitzki For Two Weeks Due To Leg Injury

ESPN.com reported that Dallas Mavericks Team Owner Mark Cuban is speculating that the team will be without forward Dirk Nowitzki for the next two weeks after getting injured in a loss Sunday to the San Antonio Spurs. Nowitzki fell to the ground writhing in pain after injuring his left leg, which seemingly buckled under him without contact from anyone else on the floor late in the third quarter. Doctors will examine Nowitzki’s knee and ankle on Monday to see if they can determine, what caused his leg to buckle, as well as to ascertain any further damage he may have suffered during his fall.
