Tennessee Rallies Back To Edge Butler In OT, 76-71

Well, so much for the Indiana schools in the NCAA tournament – 4 up, 4 down.? But #7 Butler put up the best effort of the 4 schools in the tournament; #2 Tennessee almost became a victim.? However, JaJuan Smith made four straight free throws with 13.6 seconds left in overtime, enabling Tennessee to escape with a hard-fought, 76-71 win over Butler Sunday in the second round of the NCAA East regional at BJCC?Arena in Birmingham, AL.? Tennessee was led by Wayne Chism with 16 points, 5 rebounds, 2 assists, a steal and 2 blocks while Tyler Smith scored 15 with 8 rebounds.? Butler was led by A.J. Graves with 21 points, 3 rebounds, 2 assists and 5 steals?while Mike Green scored 15 with 7 rebounds, 5 assists and a steal.? Tennessee advances to host the winner of the Oklahoma-Louisville game.
