Monday was a watershed?moment for Los Angeles Clippers forward Elton Brand when, according to Art Thompson III of the Orange County Register, he participated in his first full-court scrimmage this season.? So how did his scrimmage go?? According to Brand, “It went well.? We had fun.? The coaches, trying to referee, cheated a little bit.? I guess they had to try to keep the morale up for the white shirts.”
Brand said that his lower left leg is fully healthy and that he can run and jump without restriction; his game has suffered some, as well.? Although Clippers coach Mike Dunleavy isn’t certain how many more practice opportunities remain unavailable until the season ends, his take is that Brand will probably play in the team’s last 6 games of the season.
