Telfair Says He Has Found A Home In Minnesota
Posted by Jeff Sack under Main
The “Minneapolis Star Tribune” reported Tuesday that Minnesota Timberwolves guard Sebastian Telfair who can become a restricted free agent at the end of the season, has made it clear he wants to work out a deal with the T-Wolves. The 22 year old point guard came to the Association directly out of high school. He was taken by the Portland Trail Blazers in the 2004 NBA Draft. Telfair spent two star crossed seasons in Portland then was traded to Boston before last season. He quickly wore out his welcome with the Celtics, and was traded to Minnesota in the deal that brought Kevin Garnett to Boston. Telfair who right now is inactive with a sprained ankle talked to the media Monday and expressed his desire to stay with the team. Telfair told reporters “(Minnesota) gave me an opportunity of a lifetime. This is where I want to be.”
