The “Record” out of New Jersey, reported Wednesday that New Jersey Nets center Nenad Krstic who will become a restricted free agent at the end of the season, will not offer the Nets a “home town discount.” Krstic’s agent will look for the best deal available, because he is a restricted free agent, New Jersey will have the right to match any offer. Krstic told reporters that right now all he is concentrating on is the end of the season, and trying to get the Nets into the Post Season. Krstic said “We have 11 games left in the regular season and we’re trying to make the playoffs. If I think about contract stuff, that’s more stuff in my head. So I’m really trying to not think (about free agency.) It’s really hard to not think about it. It’s always there in my head. But the first thing is about the team and making the playoffs. If we make a good playoff run, it’s going to be good for me and it’s going to be good for everybody else. That’s the priority right now.”
