Durant Says He Would Love To Represent Sonics at Lottery Selection

Last year at the NBA Draft Lottery the Seattle SuperSonics had their 2006 NBA Draft first round choice Brandon Roy represent the team. Apparently it caused some good luck for the Sonics, as they ended up with the second pick in the draft. They of course chose Kevin Durant who is a candidate for NBA Rookie of the Year. Now the “Seattle Post-Intelligencer” has posed the question will Durant represent Seattle this year at the Lottery selection Durant thinks it is a great idea. He told reporters “Yeah, I was thinking about that. It popped in my head, and that would be cool to do. If they asked me to do it, I would do it.”
