Curry’s Outside Shooting Pushes Davidson Over Wisconsin 73-56

Cinderella is having way too much fun at the ball to go home, at least yet. The team that has quickly become the lovable underdog of this year’s NCAA Basketball Tournament, is heading the “Elite Eight” as Davidson rocked Wisconsin Friday night 73-56. The Wildcats shot 49.1% (26-53) from the floor for the game, but once again the player that drove the little engine that could, Stephen Curry was the star of the game. Curry son of former NBA player Dell, scored 33 points, giving him 30 or more points in all three games Davidson have played, he also had 4 rebounds, and 4 assists. Curry again was on fire from outside the arc hitting six of eleven treys.? Michael Flowers led the Badgers with 12 points, 6 rebounds, 2 assists. Davidson will play the winner of the Kansas Villanova game Sunday.
