The UCLA Bruins will meet Xavier in the “Elite Eight” on Saturday after defeating Western Kentucky 88-78 Thursday night in the NCAA “Sweet Sixteen.”? Bruins center Kevin Love was the key player for UCLA as he recorded a double-double, he shot 10-14 from the floor, 9 -12 from the line for 29 points, 14 boards, 4 assists in the win. ?The Bruins shot 50% (29-58) from the floor for the game. Western Kentucky was led by guard Tyrone Brazleton, who was the game’s high scorer with 31 points, 5 assists, 3 rebounds, in the loss.
