Sixers Get a Bad Case Of Sun Stroke Phoenix wins 107-93

Amare Stoudemire scored, 22 points, Raja Bell added 20 more,?the “Big Cactus” Shaquille O’Neal recorded a double-double, and the Phoenix Suns shot 51.3% (41-80) from the floor for the game. Add all those ingredients, shake vigorously, and you end up with a giant headache for the Philadelphia 76ers, and a win for Phoenix 107-93. The win?stopped the Suns losing skid at two games, avoiding losing three games in a row for the first time this season.
This game was really over after the first?quarter, as Phoenix jumped all over Philly and ended the quarter ahead 38-19. The Sixers got better offensively in the second quarter, but still just shaved two points off the lead as they got to the half trailing the Suns 61-44. The closest Philadelphia got to Phoenix in the third quarter was ten points down, as Louis Williams drove the lane and put it up and in, as Phoenix was leading 77-67 with 2:18 left in the period. But the Suns ran out the quarter on a 7-4 run and led 84-71. The fourth quarter was just extended garbage time.
Amare scored 22 points, 7 rebounds, 5 blocks, 2 assists, in the Phoenix victory. Raja Bell scored 20 points, 7 assists, 5 rebounds, 2 steals, 1 block, Boris Diaw came off the bench and scored 17 points, 7 assists, 2 rebounds. ?Leandro Barbosa scored 17 points as well, 6 rebounds, 4 assists, 1 steal, and Shaq scored 15 points, grabbed 13 boards, 1 block, 1 assist.
Andre Miller recorded a double-double for Philadelphia, 16 points, 10 assists, 3 rebounds. The Sixers other fine young point guard Louis Williams came off the pine and scored, 15 points, 3 assists, 2 rebounds, 1 steal, Andre Iguodala scored 13 points, 6 rebounds, 4 assists, 1 steal. Rodney Carney had a nice game off the bench as he scored 12 points, 2 rebounds, 2 blocks, Reggie Evans also registered a double-double, 10 points, 13 boards, 2 steals, 1 assist. Phoenix after the win has a record of 48-24, the Sixers are 37-36.
