#1 North Carolina just wasn’t in the mood to go and watch the rest of the NCAA tournament from home; forward Tyler Hansbrough would see to that as he scored 28 points, leading the?Tar Heels?to the victory over #3 Louisville, 83-73, in the NCAA East Regional final at Charlotte Bobcats Arena in Charlotte, NC, sending them to the Final Four.? North Carolina’s leading scorer was the aforementioned Hansbrough with 28 points, 13 rebounds, an assist and 2 steals while Wayne Ellington scored 13 with 5 rebounds and a steal.? Louisville was led by Jerry Smith with 17 points, a rebound, an assist and a steal while Terrence Williams scored 14 with 4 rebounds, 3 assists, a steal and a block.? North Carolina will now advance to the Final Four as they will face the winner of the Kansas-Davidson game next Saturday at San Antonio, TX.
