Spurs Win 7th Straight, Blasts Rockets 109-88

Michael Finley scored 22 points for San Antonio as the Spurs dropped the Rockets, 109-88, on Sunday afternoon.?

The San Antonio Spurs and Houston Rockets rivalry has always been classic, regardless of what was at stake; at this stage of the season - especially in the Western Conference - playoff positioning means everything, and Sunday’s game was no different.? Michael Finley and Tony Parker combined for 19-of-28 shooting, enabling San Antonio to stay near the top of the Western Conference playoff standings, embarrassing Houston 109-88 at AT&T Center.

Houston was led by Luis Scola with 24 points and 7 rebounds while Tracy McGrady and Rafer Alston combined to shoot 9-of-38, scoring 13 each - with McGrady grabbing 5 rebounds, dished out 6 assists, with a steal and a block.? San Antonio (51-23) puts their 7-game winning streak on the line when they host the Golden State Warriors Tuesday while Houston (49-24) will attempt to recover as they travel to Sacramento to take on the Kings - also on Tuesday.? ?
