Big Night For Bosh As Raptors Get By Bobcats 104-100

Chris Bosh scored 32 points as he led all five Toronto Raptors starters in double figures, and Toronto held on for a 104-100 win against the Charlotte Bobcats Monday night. The game was a roller coaster, as the two teams went back and forth between being red hot offensively to down right frigid. The victory extended their lead over Philadelphia in the NBA Eastern Conference Playoff chase to one full game. The Raptors who are currently are the sixth seeded team now trail fifth seeded Washington by just a half game.
Toronto broke out in the first quarter with guns blazing as they held a 39-32 lead at the end of the period. But in the second quarter, they suddenly turned ice cold as they scored just 19 points, and trailed going into the half, Charlotte leading 63-58. Toronto didn’t do much better in the third quarter, but this time it was the Bobcats chance to turn to stone. Charlotte scored just 10 points in the third period, and Toronto held a 79-73 lead as the two teams headed to the final 12 minutes of play. Charlotte made it a 1 point game as Jared Dudley drained the cylinder to make it 84-83 Raptors with 9:04 remaining in the quarter. But Toronto soon had the lead at 89-83 as Anthony Parker hit 1-2 at the line with 6:54 left in the game. Although Charlotte would get the lead down to 2 points later in the period, they got no closer as the Raptors stood strong.
Chris Bosh scored 32 points, 8 rebounds, 5 assists, 2 steals, in the Toronto victory. Anthony Parker scored 20 points, 5 assists, 4 rebounds, 1 steal, T.J. Ford scored 16 points, 7 assists, 1 steal. Jamario Moon scored 15 points, 8 rebounds, 2 assists, 2 blocks, 1 steal, Rasho Nesterovic recorded a double-double as he scored 14 points, 11 boards, 1 assist.
Jason Richardson paced Charlotte as he scored 26 points, 6 rebounds, 3 steals, 2 assists. Gerald Wallace scored 20 points, 8 rebounds, 3 assists, 2 steals, Emeka Okafor registered a double-double, as he scored 18 points, grabbed 12 boards, 4 blocks, 2 assists, 2 steals. Jared Dudley came off the bench and scored 11 points, 1 rebound, 1 steal, 1 block, Raymond Felton recorded a double-double, 10 points, 10 assists, 2 rebounds, 1 steal. Toronto is now 38-36, the Bobcats are 28-46
