Melo, J-Rich Honored By NBA

The Denver Nuggets have been the beneficiaries of some strong play by forward Carmelo Anthony; on the other side of the country, Charlotte Bobcats swingman Jason Richardson also helped his team have a decent week. As a result, both Anthony and Richardson Monday were honored by the NBA as this week’s Player of the Week, for the Western and Eastern Conferences, respectively. Anthony averaged 26.7 PPG, 8.7 RPG and 6.3 APG. in leading the Nuggets to a 3-0 mark; Richardson helped the Bobcats to a 3-1 mark last week, as he averaged 26.8 PPG and 6.8 RPG.
