Doc Rivers Jerry Sloan Named NBA Coaches Of The Month

The NBA announced Tuesday that Boston Celtics head coach Doc Rivers was named the NBA Coach of the Month for March in the Eastern Conference. Utah Jazz coach Jerry Sloan was given the award for the Western Conference.? This is the second time that Rivers has won the award this season, he also won it in the first month of the campaign. Boston has the best record in the Association, as they ended the month of March with a 58-15 record. The Green Team went an Association best in March with a record of 13-3.
Utah attained a 12-4 record under Sloan in the month of March, they beat six teams during that time period who are currently slated to make the playoffs. The Jazz have the best home record in the Association, as they are 33-4 at the Energy Solutions Arena.
