K-Mart Gets One Game Suspension

The NBA announced Thursday that Denver Nuggets forward Kenyon Martin has been suspended for one game for exceeding the maximum allowed number of points for flagrant fouls accumulated during the season. Martin went over the limit on Tuesday night when he whacked Phoenix Suns Boris Diaw in the face Tuesday night as the Nuggets defeated Phoenix 126-120. K-Mart was assessed a flagrant foul one for the blow. Denver’s next game is Saturday against the Sacramento Kings. If Martin commits any further flagrant fouls this season, he will be subsequently suspended one game per foul.
