Lakers Bynum Heads To Manhattan For Knee Exam

The Los Angeles Daily News reported Thursday that injured L.A. Lakers center Andrew Bynum took a trip cross country to get his knee examined by a familiar doctor. The report says that Bynum went and saw New York Meets team doctor Dr. David Altcheck about his injured knee. Altcheck performed surgery on the center back when he was in high school. With medical clearance Bynum could play Sunday as the Lakers host the Spurs.
