McGrady Will Play With Sore Shoulder Against Suns Friday

The Associated Press reported Thursday that Houston Rockets guard will play Friday night against the Phoenix Suns despite a sore left shoulder.? McGrady was not in action as the Rockets defeated the Seattle SuperSonics Wednesday night to stretch their current winning streak to four games. The reports says that forward Shane Battier could be out of commission, due to a bruised left foot and ankle. Houston currently holds a 53-25 record, and are currently the fifth seed in the NBA Western Conference Playoff standings. Phoenix is a half game behind at 53-26.
