Stoudamire Gets Old Pot Charges Dismissed

Remember when Damon Stoudamire tried to go through airport security with a bag of weed wrapped in aluminum foil in his pocket? That was almost five years ago in July of 2003 when he was stopped by Tuscon Airport Security Officials. Well just to show you quickly the Justice System in the USA works, the Associated Press reported Friday that the case was finally dismissed on Friday. Stoudamire who was charged with a misdemeanor saw his case take four and a half years to be processed, which included 2 hearings in front of the Arizona Supreme Court. Stoudamire who now plays for the San Antonio Spurs successfully completed a drug treatment program.
