Big Ticket & A.I. Named NBA Players Of The Week

The NBA announced Monday that Boston Celtics forward Kevin Garnett was named NBA player of the week in the Eastern Conference.? Denver Nuggets guard Allen Iverson was awarded the honor in the NBA Western Conference. The “Big Ticket” won the award for the third time this season, he also was given the honor on November 11, and March 23. Garnett helped Boston attain a 3-1 record as he shot 60% From the floor and averaged 19.8 ppg, 7.8 rpg.

A.I. was key in Denver going 3-1 during the week as well. He was second in the Association in scoring, shooting 53.3% from the floor, as he averaged 28.8 points, 6.8 assists, and 2.75 steals per contest. The Nuggets can lock up the final playoff spot in the Western Conference if they defeat the Memphis Grizzlies Wednesday night.
