Herb Simon Names Himself New Pacers CEO

The Associated Press reported Wednesday that Indiana Pacers co-owner Herb Simon has named himself as the new CEO of Pacers Sports and Entertainment. The position had been previously filled by new New York Knicks Team President Donnie Walsh. Simon who is 73 jointly owns the team with his brother Mel. Simon thinks that this is a good time for him to get involved in the day to day operations of the franchise. Larry Bird remains President of Basketball Operations, while Simon has named Jim Morris to be the new?Team President.
