Baron Says He And Nelson Are Still Pals

The “San Francisco Chronicle ” reported Thursday that Golden State Warriors guard Don Nelson has no ill feelings towards Warriors coach Don Nelson. Davis was benched for the second half of Golden State’s loss to the Phoenix Suns Monday night. Nelson told reporters earlier this week, that he benched Davis because of his bad performance in the first half. Davis says that he did not take the move personally. He said to reporters “We talked about it at shoot-around, before I even got to shoot-around, just laughing and joking. You’re playing for Nellie, and you got to know what comes with it. And I’m fine, I’m fine in every aspect. I was upset that night. But you know, we got to do what’s best for the team.”
