Manu The Magnificent Chosen NBA Sixth Man

The NBA announced Monday that San Antonio Spurs guard Manu Ginobili?has been honored with the NBA Sixth Man Award for the 2007-2008 campaign. Ginobili who came off the pine in 51 of the 74 contests he played in averaged 19.5 points, (a career high) 4.8 rebounds, and 4.5 assists per game. Manu The Magnificent received 123 out of 124 first place votes. Last year’s winner Lendro Barbosa of the Phoenix Suns?finished second, Jason Terry of the Dallas Mavericks was in third.
