Carlisle Confirmed as Candidate For Bulls Bench Boss Job

The “Chicago Sun-Times” reported Thursday that Chicago Bulls General Manager John Paxson has confirmed that former Indiana Pacers and Detroit Pistons head coach Rick Carlisle has been talked to about the vacancy at bench boss for the Bulls. Carlisle was dismissed at the end of the 2007 season by the Pacers, he was replaced by Jim O’Brien. Carlisle was terminated in Detroit for the opportunity to bring in Larry Brown to take over. Paxson says just beacuse the?Bulls have met with Carlisle it?does not mean that he has been zeroed in as?the candidate for the Job. Paxson intends to interview many more qualifiers for?the?job before making up his mind.
