Well you can take one name off the list of NBA coaches who may lose their gigs. The Associated Press reported Thursday that Seattle SuperSonics General Manager Sam Presti said that Seattle coach P.J. Carlesimo will “absolutely” be back on the bench with the team next season. Speculation had formed that Presti was considering making a move when he he did clarify at the end of the season that PJ would be back on the bench. Sources close to the team said that was Presti giving himself some room to maneuver, and check out other options.  Thursday at the announcement of Sonics rookie forward Kevin Durant receiving the NBA Rookie of the Year Award, Presti confirmed Carlesimo would be back for a second season. Seattle finished with the worst record in the Western Conference at 20-62.
