Posted by Jeff Sack under Main
The “Atlanta Journal-Constitution” Monday reported that the Atlanta Hawks biggest?priority this off-season will be the re-signing of their two upcoming free agents Josh Childress and Josh Smith. Both players will become free agents after the season is over. Both players want to stay with the team, as they both feel the team is on the verge of breaking out. Smith told reporters, he’s not concerned, he believes everything will work out between the team and the two players. Childress told reporters, that he and Smith want to finish the job they started, turn the Hawks into legitimate contenders. Childress spoke with the media following the Hawks game seven loss to Boston in their first round NBA Playoff series. Childress said “We have to make sure that we all stick together. That is something that is going to come up this summer. So something that I think we all have to take a look at, if we are going to be good, we have to stay together!”
