Lakers On Fire Torch Jazz 120-110 Lead Series 2-0

Kobe Bryant scored a game high 34 points, and the Los Angeles Lakers shot 57.4% (39-68) from the floor for the game, and 63.6% (7-11) from outside the arc as they defeated the Utah Jazz Wednesday night 120-110. The Lakers take a 2-0 lead in the series, and are the only team in the Post Season to be undefeated as they swept the Denver Nuggets in four games.
Los Angeles had a machine like efficiency in the first half, they took the lead 33-18 at the end of the first quarter. The Lakers stayed just as hot in the second quarter, and walked into the locker room at the half ahead by a score of 63-49. Utah did get the L.A. lead down to single digits lare in the third quarter, but they were down 10 going into the final period as Los Angeles led 93-83. The Jazz made one final run in the fourth quarter getting to within 6 points as Matt Harping hit an outside jumper with 7:22 left to make it 98-92. But Utah could not get any closer and soon fell further behind eventually losing by 10 points.
Kobe scored 34 points, 8 rebounds, 6 assists, 1 steal, Derek Fisher scored 22 points, 3 steals, 2 assists, 1 rebound. Pau Gasol scored 20 points, 5 blocks, 5 rebounds, 5 assists, Lamar Odom recorded a double-double as he scored 19 points, grabbed 16 boards, 2 blocks, 2 assists, 1 steal. Sasha Vujacic came off the bench and scored 12 points, 2 rebounds, 1 assist.
Utah was led by Deron Williams who recorded a double-double, as he scored 25 points, dished off 10 assists, 3 rebounds, 1 steal. Paul Milsap had a double-double as he came off the pine scoring 17 points, 10 boards, 1 assist, 1 steal, Mehmet Okur scored 16 points, 5 rebounds, 1 assist, 1 steal. Andrei Kirilenko scored 14 points, 5 assists, 3 rebounds, 1 steal, Ronnie Brewer scored 12 points, 5 rebounds, 2 assists, 2 steals. Carlos Boozer scored 10 points, 5 rebounds, 4 assists, 1 steal, Kyle Korver also scored 10 points, 3 rebounds, 1 assist. The series moves to Utah for game three on Sunday.
