Kerr Ridicules Trade Rumors To Knicks Of Suns Players

The “East Valley Tribune” out of Arizona reported Wednesday that Phoenix Suns General Manager?Steve Kerr was more amused than anything else of reports of a possible trade between his team and the New? York Knicks. A Phoenix area radio station had reported earlier this week that a possible deal could be in the works? which would send New York Knicks point guard and problem?child Stephon Marbury to the Suns in exchange for Leandro Barbosa, and Boris Diaw. Kerr said the rumors were exactly that rumors and nothing more, that?no talks?had gone on between the two teams nor did he think the swap was realistic. Kerr jokingly said to reporters “I think it makes sense to move Amar? Stoudamire and Steve for Marbury and Eddy Curry! Come on. Since Mike is now the coach of the Knicks, does he just get to take all of our guys, too? I don’t think it works that way.”
