Lately, Detroit Pistons assistants have become a hot commodity.? One assistant, Terry Porter, was granted permission by the Pistons to interview for the vacancy in Phoenix while K.C Johnson of the Chicago Tribune reported on Saturday that the Pistons have denied permission for the Chicago Bulls?to interview assistant Michael Curry for their coaching vacancy.? The rumor floating around Detroit and elsewhere is that Curry is the heir apparent to current coach Flip Saunders.? Meanwhile, Porter interviewed with the Suns and according to team general manager Steve Kerr, Porter and Mark Jackson both had good interviews; Porter declined comment about the interview.??
