West’s Day Of Rest Proves Beneficial, May Play vs. Spurs
Posted by Stephen Rhodes under NBA PLAYOFFS
If anyone who saw?Game 6?between the San Antonio Spurs and New Orleans, especially in the fourth quarter when Hornets forward David West was the victim of a hard pick by Spurs forward Robert Horry, you could come to one of two conclusions: one being that the pick was a legal albeit hard pick, or the second being that Horry was being a thug on the floor when the episode happened.? Regardless of what the true intent of the play was, bottom line is that West crumpled in a heap on the floor, holding his lower back.? Fortunately for West, he was able to rest the back for a day and he reappeared at his team’s practice on Saturday, according to the Associated Press.? That no doubt comes?as a relief to his teammates and Hornets fans alike, raising the possibility that West?will be able to play on Monday when both teams face off in Game 7.?

That was scary for the Hornets .West is definately needed in this series. He is a great shot out of the post. Not to mention his defense on Duncan has been awesome.
