Clippers Coach Thinks Maggette Will Opt-Out of Contract

The “Los Angeles Times” reported Wednesday that Los Angeles Clippers head coach Mike Dunleavy believes that veteran Corey Magegette will utilize the opt-out clause in his contract and will become a free agent. The 28 year old forward has played for the Clippers since the 2000-2001, after playing his rookie year for the Orlando Magic. Dunleavy told the paper he was? not sure if veteran forward Elton Brand would also opt out. He did say that the club was interested in retaining both players.??
