Melo’s Agent Says His Client Will Remain A Member Of The Nuggets

The “Denver Post” reported Thursday, that the agent for Denver Nuggets All-Star Carmelo Anthony has been assured by the Nuggets that his client is not being shopped. There had been speculation because of another early exit, that Denver would end up breaking up the team. Anthony, the Nuggets most valuable commodity would be the player, that would command the most in return in any trade.

Melo’s agent Calvin Andrews told the paper that team management had it made it clear that Anthony is not being shopped. Andrews said “Carmelo Anthony is their guy. There are no plans to trade Melo. Melo will be in a Denver uniform next year. They’re not entertaining trades for Melo. It’s not even in the cards.”

    Melo is a hard working son of a gun and even though he’s still immature from time to time, he’s a player you should build a team around. I think the problem with this team is George Karl, Martin and J.R. Smith
