The 2007-2008 NBA season was not one of the highlights of Cleveland Cavaliers forward Anderson Varejao’s career. He started out the season on the sidelines, as a contract holdout left Varejao who was a restricted free agent out of action until December when the Cavaliers matched an offer sheet by the Charlotte Bobcats. Then Andy got hurt, and when he returned a lot of the playing time he had been getting had been given over to Ben Wallace. Varejao reportedly did not handle the situation very tactfully. Monday The Akron Beacon-Journal reported that the Brazilian native could be on the trading block. Neither the team or a spokesman or his agent had commented on the report. Varejao just completed his fourth season in the Association, all with Cleveland.
