Grunfeld Says We Could Trade Draft Pick…Or Maybe Not

The Washington Post reported Tuesday that Washington Wizards General Manager Ernie Grunfeld has not come to a definitive decision over whether his team should keep their pick in the first round of the NBA Draft, or trade it. Grunfeld said he is open to offers and would make a deal if it helped his?club, but would have no problems keeping the pick. The Wizards currently have the 18th pick in the first round. Grunfeld told reporters “?As we look at the draft, we think we can get a good player at 18. It’s a deep draft.”

    Trade down with Seattle for their 24th & 1st second round pick. Take Ibaka & potential back up point guard. Sign Jamison for 3 years & you have an equal/albeit primarily defensive all-star quality replacement
