Yesterday, I covered the Memphis Grizzlies’ needs and who I projected as their first-round pick.? Today, I will cover the New York Knicks’ needs in the 2008 NBA Draft and who?I predict the Knicks will take with their first-round pick.

New York Knicks

Draft Position - #6

Needs: Many, especially at both guard positions and small forward.? Now that the Knicks have D’Antoni running the show, you can expect that he wants a team that consists of greyhounds and are a fair resemblance of his former team (Phoenix Suns).? That being said, I’m not convinced that New York will draft for need insomuch as they will draft the best available athlete.

New York Knicks select: O.J. Mayo, PG/SG, USC
