Newsday” reported on Thursday that Golden State Warriors guard Monta Ellis could find himself in new uniform next season due to pricing himself out of the Warriors budget. Ellis becomes a restricted free agent at the end of the season, and he will command a lot more money than Golden State paid him this past season. Ellis was one of the league’s best? bargains as his salary was just $770,610.? Ellis averaged 20.2 ppg, 5.0 rpg, and 3.9 assists per game. There is speculation that he could be involved in a sign and trade deal.

    Whoever wheels ‘n deals for Monta will be the true winners this off-season.

    Ellis has one of the best mid-range games in the entire NBA. His shot is flawless on the pull-up inside the arc.

    He is only going to get better and he has that Iverson quickness to go along with that knack to score ala Gilbert Arenas. He has the ability to put up 25 a game. Orlando ideally be a great fit for Monta.
