Red Sox Will Move Game Up An Hour To Accomodate Celtics Fans

The Associated Press reported Saturday that the Boston Red Sox have moved up the start time of their Thursday night game against the Tampa Bay Rays, so that Bostonians who are fans of both the Red Sox and the Celtics can catch both games. The Red Sox who host the Rays Thursday night have moved their start time to 6:05 EDT,?an hour earlier than their normal?first pitch. The Celtics host the Los Angeles Lakers in game one of the NBA Finals starting at 9:00 EDT. Bo-Sox President and CEO Larry Lucchino says he is rooting for the “Green Team” to win their seventeenth NBA Championship. This will be the Celtics first appearance in the Finals since 1987.
