Nets Have Raised $500 Million In Sponsorships For New Brooklyn Arena

“Nets Daily” reported Monday that the New Jersey Nets have already raised $500 million for their new arena in Brooklyn, N.Y. The report says that the franchise picked up $ 100 million dollars in corporate sponsorships this weekend. The Nets will pay $500 million for the new complex, it is expected to cost $950 million total. The rest of the funding will come from the state.?The?team had previously sold the naming rights for $400 million, to Barclays Bank and will be named the Barclays Center. The team will move to the new facility in 2010.
