The “Boston Globe” reported Wednesday that Boston Celtics starting point guard Rajon Rondo, told reporters he will be out on the hardwood Thursday night as the Celtics take on the Los Angeles Lakers in game four of the NBA Finals. Rondo spoke to the media with his left ankle encased in a brace, he injured it during the first half of Tuesday night’s loss to the Lakers in game three of the Finals. The injury caused the 22 year old guard to miss much of the second half of the contest. Rondo has been a very big contributor to the Celtics march to the NBA Finals, as he has averaged 10.3 points, 6.9 assists, and 4.2 rebounds per game in the post season.??The Boston point guard told reporters, although he is feeling pain he will be on the court Thursday night. Rondo said “Nobody in this league is 100 percent, but I’m sure I’ll play tomorrow night. It was sore when I first woke up this morning. I almost fell out of bed. But the more time I put weight on it today, the better it got.” The Celtics lead the series going into game four 2-1.
