Now that the Chicago Bulls have obtained the first overall pick in the 2008 NBA Draft, they obviously want to get the best up-close and personal visit from prospects as possible.? The team will be busy next week as according to Mike McGraw of the Daily Herald (a suburban Chicago newspaper), two of the top NBA prospects, Michael Beasley and Derrick Rose, will pay a visit to Berto Center – Beasley will arrive on Monday and Tuesday while Rose will arrive on Wednesday and will stay until Thursday.
Beasley, who is 6’8″, posted some huge numbers as a freshman at Kansas State, averaging 26.2 PPG and 12.4 RPG while shooting 53% from the field while Rose averaged 14.9 PPG and 4.7 APG for Memphis.? It is rumored that the Bulls are leaning towards selecting Rose, but team general manager John Paxson has said that he will keep an open mind until it is time to decide.
