Boston Celtics NBA Champions Beat Lakers In Six Games 131-92

The Boston Celtics are back on top of the NBA after defeating the Los Angeles Lakers?131-92 in game six of the NBA Finals to take their seventeenth NBA Championship. It is the first NBA Title in 22 years for the “Green Team.” The Championship is the culmination of a total remake of the team in the off-season by Celtics Director of Basketball Operations Danny Ainge.?In two separate deals, the Celtics traded for Ray Allen from Seattle and?Kevin Garnett from Minnesota. Paul Pierce also recorded a double-double, as he scored 17 points, 10 assists, 3 rebounds, 2 steals. Kobe Bryant?was the high score for Los Angeles with 22 points.
